Solar Fleet Ops Hub (2D)

2D top-down heatmap and sun-arc view of a utility-scale solar farm: compare fixed-tilt, single-axis and dual-axis tracking as the sun moves and clouds roll in, watching live fleet power output and capacity factor.

A 2D companion to the 3D Solar Fleet Ops Hub, using the exact same solar-geometry math — Sun elevation and azimuth from the time of day, the cosine law of irradiance, and the three tracking strategies real utility-scale plants choose between. Instead of an orbiting 3D array, this view renders a sun-arc strip showing where the Sun sits in the sky, a side profile of one representative panel and its tilt against an incoming ray, and a live top-down heat-map grid of the whole fleet's per-panel output. Scrub the time-of-day slider (or hit play to run a full day), dial in cloud cover, resize the fleet, and switch between fixed-tilt, single-axis and dual-axis tracking to see fleet power output and capacity factor respond in real time.
