Direct Air Capture: Saturation Strip Chart
2D schematic and scrolling strip-chart view of a solid-sorbent direct air capture (DAC) plant: watch both contactor banks' saturation, capture rate and energy cost trace out live over time as you change fan speed, ambient CO2, regeneration temperature and sorbent capacity.
This is a 2D schematic-and-strip-chart view of the same solid-sorbent direct air capture (DAC) process as the 3D plant simulator: two alternating contactor banks, one adsorbing CO₂ from fan-driven ambient air while the other is heated to release its captured CO₂ for storage. Instead of a 3D duct-and-particle scene, this view draws a flat top-down schematic of the two banks with airflow and heat cues, and scrolls a live strip chart of both banks' saturation, the instantaneous capture rate and the released-CO₂ pulses over time — a graph-first way to see the swing cycle and the fan/temperature/capacity trade-offs play out. Live capture-rate, energy and cost-per-tonne readouts use the identical formulas as the 3D model.
