⚙️ EV Motor Lab: Torque–Speed Curve, Field Weakening and Permanent-Magnet vs Induction

A generic electric-vehicle traction motor seen in the dq frame: constant-torque region, voltage ellipse and current circle, field weakening, MTPA, permanent-magnet versus induction, efficiency map and 0-100 km/h time.

⚙ Under the hood

A generic traction motor in the dq frame: constant-torque region, voltage ellipse and current circle in the (i_d, i_q) plane, MTPA, field weakening into the constant-power region and the speed limit, compared between interior-magnet, surface-magnet and induction machines, with loss-based efficiency map, gear ratio, a Blender-modelled cutaway with a rotating-field arrow shader showing the torque angle, and a 0-100 km/h estimate. Differs from the existing induction, motor-field and EV-vs-combustion sims by solving the torque limit under both current and voltage constraints.
