🧪 Education Gamification Education Simulation
Interactive 3D simulator of behavioral reinforcement schedules (fixed/variable ratio, fixed/variable interval) used in educational gamification: watch a student's engagement, streak and XP level respond in real time as rewards are granted.
Gamified learning apps hook attention with reward schedules borrowed straight from behavioral psychology. This simulator runs a virtual student through repeated quiz attempts under four classic reinforcement schedules — fixed ratio, variable ratio, fixed interval and variable interval — and animates a live 3D engagement core, XP orbit and attempt timeline so you can see, in real time, why variable-ratio rewards ("just one more try") produce the strongest and most persistent motivation, why fixed-ratio rewards create a predictable post-reward slump, and how streaks, fatigue and diminishing returns interact to shape the engagement curve that game designers actually tune.
This simulation explores how game mechanics can be integrated into educational settings. Users will likely engage in challenges and earn rewards to motivate learning and improve knowledge retention.
