Diploma Verification Blockchain Simulator
Interactive simulator of a blockchain-anchored academic credential registry: issue diploma certificates into a mining block, watch it reach finality, then verify a copy against the on-chain hash and see tampering instantly detected.
Academic fraud is easy when a diploma is just a PDF — anyone with image-editing skills can forge one, and a registrar's office is often the only source of truth, reachable only during business hours. Blockchain-anchored credentials fix this by publishing a tamper-evident fingerprint of every diploma on a shared, append-only ledger: the diploma stays private with the graduate, but its hash is public and permanent. This simulator issues certificates into a growing chain of blocks, mines each batch to finality, and lets you tamper with an off-chain copy to watch hash verification catch the forgery instantly — the same mechanism used by real credentialing platforms like MIT's Blockcerts and several national diploma registries.
