Sealed hives trap metabolic heat that the colony can no longer vent by fanning; open travel screens cool the nest with road-speed airflow but let a few daytime foragers try to leave. The colony stress index blends heat load, vibration and daytime disturbance the way a real migratory move would.
🎮 How to Use
Drag road speed, ambient temperature and the hive-count slider, switch between night and day travel, and toggle the ventilation screens. Watch the bees around each entrance grow calmer or more agitated, and see foragers drift away whenever screens are open in daylight.
