Blended Value Capital Allocator
Interactive social-enterprise portfolio simulator: a fractional-knapsack algorithm allocates a fixed capital budget across ten ventures, balancing financial IRR against measured social return (SROI) under a risk-tolerance ceiling.
Social entrepreneurship pairs a financial return with a measured social or environmental one — the "blended value" that impact investors weigh when deciding where capital goes. This simulator models ten social ventures, each with its own capital ask, financial IRR, Social Return on Investment (SROI), and risk rating, and allocates a fixed budget across them with a real fractional-knapsack algorithm: a blended score trades off impact against return via a λ slider, a risk-tolerance slider screens out ventures above your mandate, and the highest-scoring eligible ventures get funded first until the budget is spent. Ten bars in the 3D scene rise and brighten as capital lands on their venture, while live readouts track capital deployed, ventures funded, blended IRR, and portfolio-wide SROI.
