🧪 Business Operations Management Simulation
Interactive 3D operations-management simulator: staff a three-stage production line (Fabrication, Assembly, QC), set finite buffer capacity and order arrival rate, and watch throughput, WIP and cycle time obey Little's Law and Theory-of-Constraints bottleneck theory in real time.
This simulation lets you run a real three-stage production line — Fabrication, Assembly and Quality Control — with finite buffers between each station. Staff each station, set how fast orders arrive, and watch a live 3D factory floor where units queue, get processed, and either flow onward or block the line when a downstream buffer fills up. Throughput, work-in-progress and cycle time are computed live from the same relationships operations managers use in practice — Little's Law and Theory-of-Constraints bottleneck analysis — so starving or overstaffing any single station has an immediate, visible effect on the whole line.
This simulation allows users to practice operational decision-making within a business context. They’ll manage resources, optimize workflows, and respond to changing market conditions to achieve business goals.
