A field of 3D plants that grows exactly the way real ecosystems do: not by the average of the resources available, but by whichever single factor — light, water, soil nitrogen or temperature — is scarcest. Adjust each factor independently and watch the canopy's growth rate track only the current bottleneck; raising an already-abundant resource does nothing until you relieve the one actually holding growth back. Live readouts track the growth rate, average plant height, and the field's yield as a fraction of its full potential.
