How the same beekeeping fundamentals play out differently depending on setting: rooftops and gardens force close attention to boundary distance and flight-path screening, while rural and estate apiaries usually have space to spare.

🎮 How to Use

Pick a setting, add hives, and drag the neighbour-distance slider to watch the boundary line shift from red to green. Toggle the flight-path screen to see the bees' arcs lift over the hedge or fence near the boundary.

💡 Did You Know?

There's no fixed UK legal minimum distance between a hive and a boundary — most local associations instead recommend a ~2m screen close to the entrance, which works just as well on a crowded rooftop as it does in a small back garden.
