Missed-Diagnosis Malpractice Claim Clusters (3D)

A 3D point-cloud companion to the malpractice-claims pattern analysis: orbit a live nebula of thousands of claims as they migrate from an unlabeled cloud into distinct oncology, cardiovascular, infection and neurological failure clusters.

The 2D companion plots claims on a flat scatter chart; this 3D version places every claim as a point in real 3D space and lets you fly around it. At intake (Stage 1) the claims form a formless grey cloud — no specialty, no condition, nothing to see. Tagging (Stage 2) recolours the cloud by condition category without moving it. From clustering onward (Stages 3–5) each point eases toward its cluster's position on a sphere of nebulae, with a translucent halo growing around the dominant cluster and a pulsing ring marking it out — the same "Big Three" pattern the claims literature reports (oncology follow-up failures, cardiovascular anchoring errors, and infection escalation failures) but now something you can orbit and inspect from any angle instead of reading off a flat plot. The look-back window and specialty-breadth sliders reshape which claims are pooled, exactly as in the 2D version, while drag-to-orbit and scroll-to-zoom make the spatial separation between failure-pattern clusters tangible.

⚙ Under the hood

A 3D point-cloud companion to the missed-diagnosis malpractice claim pattern analysis: claims migrate from an unclustered cloud into oncology, cardiovascular, infection and neurological failure-pattern nebulae across five analysis stages, with a hand-rolled drag-orbit and scroll-zoom camera.
