NAC Posture Assessment & Dynamic VLAN Quarantine

Interactive 3D Network Access Control simulator: devices are scored against a weighted posture policy (patch level, AV status, firewall, certificate) and dynamically routed into a Corporate, Remediation or Quarantine VLAN, with continuous re-assessment as posture drifts over time.

This simulator models a Network Access Control (NAC) switch performing continuous posture assessment: every device that joins is scored against a weighted policy combining patch level, antivirus status, firewall status and certificate validity, then dynamically routed to a Corporate VLAN, a Remediation VLAN, or an isolated Quarantine VLAN. Because posture drifts over time — patch levels decay unless a device is actively remediated — devices already inside the Corporate VLAN can be re-scored below the compliance threshold and dropped into quarantine mid-session, mirroring how enterprise NAC platforms like Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass continuously re-verify endpoints rather than trusting a single connection-time check.
