3D Secure 2.0 Risk-Based Authentication Engine
Interactive 3D visualization of a card-payment risk-scoring engine: watch transactions flow through a live 3DS2/PSD2-style pipeline and see how risk thresholds trade off frictionless approvals, step-up OTP challenges, and false declines.
Card payments today are guarded less by a single password and more by a real-time risk-scoring pipeline. This simulator renders that pipeline in 3D: a stream of transactions flows toward a scoring gate where five signals — device trust, geo-velocity, transaction amount, merchant risk, and behavioral biometrics — are blended into one risk score, exactly the shape of a real 3D Secure 2.0 / PSD2 risk-based authentication engine. Two threshold sliders decide whether each transaction sails through frictionlessly, gets an OTP step-up challenge, or is declined outright, while a dark ground-truth ring marks the transactions that are genuinely fraudulent so you can watch false negatives and false declines happen live and see exactly how tightening one threshold trades fraud loss against checkout friction.
Watch card transactions flow in 3D through a live risk-scoring gate that blends device, geo-velocity, amount, merchant and behavioral signals, then tune the frictionless and step-up thresholds to see the real trade-off between missed fraud, false declines and checkout friction.
