Biometric Authentication Attacks
Interactive 3D simulation of spoofing attacks against biometric authentication: watch genuine users and fake fingerprint/face presentation attempts fly through a matching gate, tune the FAR/FRR threshold and presentation-attack detection to see the security/convenience trade-off in real time.
Biometric matchers never compare templates exactly — they score similarity and accept anything above a threshold, which means genuine users and forged samples (fake fingerprints, printed or masked faces, replayed scans) both land somewhere on the same scale. This simulation streams both kinds of presentation through a live matching gate: raise the threshold and watch spoofs bounce off but real users start getting rejected too; raise spoof sophistication and the two score clouds start to overlap; toggle liveness detection (PAD) to see an independent defense catch attacks the score alone would let through. Watch the False Accept Rate, False Reject Rate and breach counter respond to every change.
