This 3D view turns certificate pinning into a physical gate: connection packets stream down a tunnel from phone to server, passing through a ring that inspects each one's certificate fingerprint. Switch on a man-in-the-middle interceptor and watch it hijack packets mid-flight — with pinning enabled, the gate deflects its CA-valid but wrong-fingerprint certificate every time; with pinning disabled, the same packets sail straight through to the server, silently compromised.
