PWA Installability Explorer

A Progressive Web App only becomes installable when a set of criteria hold true at the same moment — but which criteria matter, and how the browser reacts, depends entirely on which browser your visitor is using. This 2D simulator renders Chrome's own installability rule (HTTPS, a valid Web App Manifest, icons at 192px and 512px, and a registered service worker with a fetch handler) as four toggleable badges around a phone mockup, then lets you compare the exact same PWA against Chrome/Edge's automatic beforeinstallprompt banner, Safari's manual Share-sheet install, and Firefox's total lack of a native install UI. A running visitor funnel shows how many simulated users actually get offered an install and how many accept it, so you can see how a single missing criterion — or a browser choice — changes the outcome instantly.
