🤖 Multi-Agent Systems: Decentralized Coordination & Emergent Behavior (2D)

2D top-down swarm of autonomous agents that coordinate toward a shared goal using only local, decentralized communication. Tune agent count, communication radius, coordination strength and exploration noise to see MARL-style consensus and emergent flocking behavior appear.

This 2D companion runs the same decentralized boids-style rules as the 3D version — cohesion, alignment, separation, shared-goal attraction and exploration noise — on a flat top-down canvas, drawing a line between any two agents currently within communication range so the local-only network topology is directly visible instead of implied by an orbiting camera.

⚙ Under the hood

2D top-down decentralized swarm: each agent only reacts to neighbors inside its communication radius, no central controller, with a live cohesion and velocity-consensus readout.
