Deferred Deep Link Attribution Matching (2D)

Interactive 2D simulator of probabilistic deferred deep-link attribution: a lane of ad-click fingerprints drifts toward an install boundary while a weighted scoring engine (IP bucket, device model, OS version, time decay) tries to match each new install back to its true click — with a live score histogram and an ambiguity chart exposing the birthday-paradox risk of low-entropy device pools.

Mobile marketing depends on deferred deep linking to send a new user straight to the right in-app screen even when the app wasn't installed at click time — but when there's no app yet to catch a real URL, the only option is a probabilistic guess. This simulator renders the guess itself: a lane of ad-click "fingerprints" drifts across a 2D attribution window toward an install boundary, install events arrive at that boundary, and a weighted scoring engine (IP bucket, device model, OS version, time decay) tries to pair each install back to the click that actually caused it. Tune the match threshold, the attribution window length, the device-pool entropy and the click volume, and watch correct matches, false positives and missed attributions accumulate in real time, backed by a live score histogram and an ambiguity chart that measures the birthday-paradox risk directly from the running simulation rather than illustrating it in the abstract.
