Asch Conformity Experiment (2D)

A 2D re-creation of Solomon Asch's classic line-judgment study: a subject sits at the end of a row of confederates who are all shown the same board — one standard line and three comparison lines, A, B and C — and asked which comparison matches the standard. On critical trials every confederate unanimously names the wrong line before the subject answers. Click any confederate to break unanimity. This simulator drives the subject's response with a logistic conformity model fitted to Asch's published conformity rates, so you can watch the classic findings emerge live: conformity rising sharply with group size and then plateauing, and a single dissenting confederate collapsing it by roughly six-fold.
