🧪 Ecology Advanced Green Energy Simulation

Interactive 3D simulator: expand a floating solar array over a reservoir and watch panel coverage suppress algal blooms, cool the water, cut evaporation and reshape the dissolved-oxygen cycle — while the array's own energy output rises and falls with the sun.

Green energy technology doesn't operate in isolation — it sits inside a living ecosystem, and a floating solar array is one of the clearest examples of that integration. This simulation puts a photovoltaic array on a reservoir surface and lets you expand or shrink its footprint, watching in real time how the shade it casts suppresses algal photosynthesis, cools the water and cuts evaporation, while reshaping the reservoir's dissolved-oxygen cycle. A simplified but genuinely coupled model — light-limited algal growth, temperature-dependent oxygen solubility and a day/night solar cycle — runs continuously underneath a live 3D reservoir, so the same slider that raises the array's energy output also visibly changes the health of the water beneath it.
