🌊 River Flood in a City: Water Level, Levees, Pumps and Inundation Lab

Interactive 2-D shallow-water flood simulation (finite volume, wetting and drying, Manning friction) of a river flood hitting a city of 330 blocks: set levee crests, a retention-basin inlet gate and three pumping stations, and read the inundation map, the weir overflow Q = C L H^1.5 and the depth-damage estimate. An experiment compares the 2-D stage with the Manning rating curve to find the levee height needed for a given return period.
