Rusty Iron Gate: Electrochemical Corrosion (3D)
Full 3D iron gate corroding as a real electrochemical cell — orbit the bars as scratch-driven anode sites and passive cathode regions grow rust at a moisture- and oxygen-diffusion-limited rate, with electron and ion flow visualized on the surface.
A full 3D iron gate you can orbit freely, corroding through the same real electrochemical cell that rusts any piece of iron outdoors: scratches and impurities on a bar's surface become anodic sites where Fe → Fe²⁺ + 2e⁻, electrons flow through the metal to cathodic patches where O₂ + 2H₂O + 4e⁻ → 4OH⁻, and rust precipitates in the moisture film where the two ion clouds meet — rendered as a live texture that grows outward from each scratch. Moisture, salt, oxygen exposure and background impurities drive the rate exactly as they do outdoors, including the real competing effect where a thicker film helps ion transport but starves the cathode of oxygen. Click any bar to add a scratch and watch a new anode site ignite.
A 3D iron gate corrodes as a real galvanic cell — scratch-driven anode sites (Fe to Fe2+) and passive cathode regions (O2 reduction to OH-) grow rust at a moisture- and oxygen-diffusion-limited rate you control.
