Salt Dissolution Kinetics: Noyes-Whitney Rate & Solubility Curve (2D)

2D salt-dissolution lab: a Noyes-Whitney shrinking-crystal model driven by a real NaCl solubility curve, with temperature, stirring rate and grain size all changing how fast the tank saturates.

This 2D companion swaps the orbiting 3D tank for a plain canvas built to make the kinetics readable: a Noyes-Whitney shrinking-crystal model drives every grain's radius down at a rate set by the real, temperature-dependent NaCl solubility curve, the current stirring rate and how far the bulk solution still sits below saturation, while a live solubility-curve panel and a saturation-fraction strip chart show the bulk concentration climbing toward Cs(T) and dissolution slowing to a stop exactly when it gets there.
