Double Blintz Base — Origami Fold Simulator

Watch a square sheet fold into a double blintz base — two full rounds of corner-to-center creases, animated with real hinge-rotation geometry, one paper layer at a time.

This simulator animates a genuine double blintz base fold using real 3D hinge geometry rather than a canned animation. The paper is built from its true crease pattern — a diamond of edge-midpoint creases for round one, and a second, nested set of quarter-point creases for round two — and every panel rotates about its own physical crease axis, composed exactly the way folding one crease "inside" another actually works. Drag the two fold sliders independently to see each round in isolation, or hit Auto-fold to watch the whole sequence play out, corner by corner, down to the final quarter-size square.
