🧪 Online Learning Online Collaboration Simulation
Interactive 3D simulator of real-time collaborative document editing: several simulated users insert and delete text over a laggy network while an operational-transformation server resolves conflicting edits and converges everyone on one document.
This simulation explores the dynamics of online collaboration tools used in e-learning, focused on one concrete mechanism: how a shared document stays consistent when several people edit it at once over a real, laggy network. Colored editor avatars float above a live document grid and keep inserting and deleting blocks; each edit travels to a central hub with a configurable network delay, and the hub runs the same operational-transformation math that powers real collaborative editors to reconcile conflicting positions before applying them. Live counters track operations in transit, total operations applied, document length and how many genuine conflicts the transform resolved, while a sync badge shows whether every editor's change has been folded in yet.
This simulation explores the dynamics of online collaboration tools used in e-learning, showcasing how students can interact and work together remotely.
