🧪 Nanotech Advanced Nanorobot Swarm Simulation

Interactive nanoscale swarm simulator: hundreds of nanobots use only local sensing and Langevin dynamics under thermal noise to self-assemble into a target formation with no central controller, illustrating distributed control and emergent order.

This simulation models a swarm of nanobots performing coordinated tasks, illustrating concepts like distributed control, self-organization, and emergent behavior within a nanoscale environment. Hundreds of independent nanobots, each running only local rules — attraction to its own assigned target slot, short-range collision avoidance with nearby swarm-mates, and constant thermal buffeting — self-organize into a chosen target formation (sphere, torus, DNA double helix or lattice) with no central controller directing them. The physics is overdamped Langevin dynamics, the real regime nanoscale particles move in, so the "Thermal noise" and "Control gain" sliders expose the actual engineering trade-off a real nanorobot swarm faces: enough actuation to beat Brownian motion, using only what a single unit can sense of its neighbors.
