Lunar Landing: Thrust, Fuel & Descent Physics (2D)
2D lunar-lander physics lab: real gravity, thrust and fuel-burn equations of motion, adjustable gravity/thrust/fuel, and a pass/fail touchdown check against real velocity and tilt limits.
The 3D "Lunar Landing" original is one of a hundred reskinned entries in a generic AI-training-arena template shared across unrelated domains (navigation, swarms, logistics, ecosystems…) — its "reward curve" and agents are the same generic goal-seeking demo regardless of title, not an actual descent simulation. This 2D companion instead builds the real thing the title promises: a point-mass lander under constant gravity with a tiltable thrust vector, genuine fuel metering, and a touchdown check against real velocity and tilt limits, so what you fly is an honest physics model of a Moon landing rather than a decorative reskin.
2D lunar-lander physics lab with gravity/thrust/fuel-burn equations of motion integrated at a fixed sub-step, adjustable world parameters, and a pass/fail touchdown check against real velocity and tilt limits.
