Load Balancer & Auto-Scaling: Queueing Theory Lab (2D)
2D load-balancer / auto-scaling lab: Poisson request arrivals, an M/M/c server pool with exponential service, a real utilization-threshold auto-scaling rule, and live queue-length / latency / server-count charts that verify Little's Law (L = λW) in real time.
This 2D companion strips the cloud-region visualization down to the queueing theory that actually governs it: a Poisson arrival process feeds a load balancer, a pool of servers process requests as an M/M/c queue with real exponential service-time math, and a documented threshold-based auto-scaling rule adds or removes instances as measured utilization crosses configurable bounds — with live charts of queue length, response time and server count so you can watch, and verify with Little's Law, how load, capacity and latency actually relate.
