🚀 Rocket Types and Staging Lab: Tsiolkovsky Equation, Solid, Liquid and Electric Propulsion
Compare launch-vehicle architectures (single stage, two and three stages, solid boosters, a reusable first stage) and engine types (solid, hybrid, kerosene, hydrogen, ion) with the Tsiolkovsky equation, then fly each one through a gravity-turn ascent with gravity, drag, steering and back-pressure loss budgets, Max-Q throttling and an orbit result from the burnout state. Unlike the existing single-rocket and two-stage pages it adds optimal-staging payload fractions (equal-delta-v and Lagrange), propulsion-type comparison, the reuse payload penalty and a low-thrust electric spiral with the Oberth effect.
