This solves the 2D wave equation ∂²h/∂t² = c²∇²h on a grid. Two sources → interference fringes; a barrier with slits → diffraction; a depth gradient slows waves in shallows (c=√(g·depth)) so wavefronts refract toward shore; the barrier reflects waves.
