📡 Antenna Placement Optimizer — Particle Swarm Live (2D)
A real Particle Swarm Optimization swarm searches simulated cell-tower placements live on a flat top-down map, updating each particle's velocity from its own and the swarm's best-known coverage score.
This 2D companion runs the exact same particle-swarm-optimization algorithm as the 3D version on a flat top-down map: demand points are colored by weight, translucent dots trace every candidate particle's tower positions, and the current best-known layout is drawn as solid coverage rings that visibly tighten as the swarm converges — with a live fitness chart underneath instead of an orbiting camera.
A real PSO swarm — velocity update v ← w·v + c₁r₁(pbest−x) + c₂r₂(gbest−x), then x ← x+v — searches tower (x,y) positions to maximize demand-weighted coverage minus an overlap penalty, drawn on a plain 2D canvas map.
