Space Station Entertainment Hub: Join-Shortest-Queue Load Balancing (2D)
2D queueing-theory lab for a four-station space-entertainment hub: visitors arrive as a Poisson process and are routed by Join-Shortest-Queue or random assignment across heterogeneous multi-server stations, with live wait-time, utilization and balking-probability readouts you can compare between routing policies.
This 2D companion turns the four "entertainment types" of the 3D space-station model into a real multi-server queueing network: visitors arrive as a Poisson process, each of the four stations runs its own finite-capacity M/M/c/K queue with an exponential service-time draw per slot, and a routing-policy switch lets you compare Join-Shortest-Queue load balancing against uniform-random assignment while watching wait time, utilization and balking probability update live.
2D queueing-network lab: Poisson arrivals, exponential service times per slot, and a live comparison between Join-Shortest-Queue and random routing across four heterogeneous stations.
