Filefish Seagrass Camouflage Lab (2D)

2D filefish camouflage lab: a school adapts body colour toward the local seagrass pattern, boid-style flocking spread by current strength, and a predator glance that reveals which fish blend in and which don't.

This 2D companion keeps the 3D lab's own mechanic — a school of filefish continuously blending body colour toward the seagrass pattern beneath them — and puts it on a flat canvas built for reading the effect clearly: colour adaptation, boid-style flocking scattered by a current-strength slider, and a click-to-send predator glance that flags any fish whose camouflage hasn't caught up.

⚙ Under the hood

Filefish camouflage lab: per-fish RGB blending toward a tiled seagrass colour field, boid flocking (cohesion, separation, current-driven turbulence), and a predator-glance sweep that detects any fish below a 60% camouflage threshold.
