🔬 What It Demonstrates

Pollen deposited in comb cells visibly ferments from bright pollen-yellow into deep bee-bread red as lactic-acid bacteria acidify and preserve it, while nectar/honey and brood cells fill and empty in response to forager traffic and seasonal brood demand.

Pick a season, drag the pollen–nectar focus slider to bias what foragers collect, and toggle a wildflower mix against a single-crop monoculture. Watch the protein, carbohydrate and micronutrient-diversity bars respond, and see the colony cluster and draw down reserves once winter stops all foraging.
