🧪 Infinite Kick Physics Simulator (2D)

A 2D free-kick physics lab: power, lift, swerve and aim launch a ball along a real projectile trajectory — gravity, quadratic air drag and a magnus-style curve force bend the flight path toward a regulation-size goal frame.

This 2D companion runs the same projectile physics as the 3D scene on a flat canvas: gravity, quadratic air drag and a magnus-style curve force integrate every frame, with a side view for distance and height and a top-down strip showing how spin bends the ball toward or away from the goal.

⚙ Under the hood

Semi-implicit Euler integration of a launch velocity split into forward, vertical and lateral components; drag scales with speed squared, and a constant lateral acceleration models the curve while the ball is airborne, checked against goal-frame geometry on crossing the goal line.
