Beekeeper Safety Zone Simulator (2D): Distance, Smoke & Suit
2D top-down beekeeping safety lab: adjust approach distance, movement speed, smoker use and protective suit level around a hive, and watch colony agitation, sting risk and an overall safety score respond in real time.
This 2D companion drives the same approach/agitation/sting-risk model as the 3D version through a plain top-down canvas view built for reading the mechanism rather than orbiting a scene: a beekeeper icon eases toward whatever distance the slider requests, a swarm of bees orbits the hive with a radius and speed that visibly widen as agitation climbs, and two safe-distance rings mark the 1.5 m danger zone and the outer 6 m boundary. Movement speed, smoker use and the chosen suit level all feed the same exponential-approach agitation model and linear suit-exposure conversion as the original, so the safety score and sting counter respond identically — only the viewing angle changes.
