Moisture and Condensation Control in Beehives (2D)

2D hive-roof cross-section: switch between a sealed inner cover, a ventilation gap and a moisture quilt and watch rising vapor condense into drops, vent away, or get absorbed, with a live dew-point and condensation-risk readout.

This 2D companion drives the same dew-point and roof-insulation model as the 3D hive cutaway through a plain canvas cross-section built for reading the physics rather than orbiting a scene: pick a roof configuration, adjust outside temperature, colony moisture output and cluster activity, and watch individual vapor particles either condense into drops that fall back onto the cluster, stream out through a ventilation gap, or get wicked up by a moisture quilt, while the dew-point and condensation-risk readout updates in real time — making visible the exact rule (roof underside temperature dropping below dew point) that decides whether a hive stays dry or drips on its bees.

⚙ Under the hood

2D hive-roof cross-section with a live dew-point vs. roof-underside-temperature model, particle-based vapor that condenses, vents, or gets absorbed depending on the chosen roof configuration.
