🥩 Raw Food Diet: Pros, Cons, and Safety
A 3D bowl-building diet comparator letting users balance raw ingredients against nutritional targets, with a risk/benefit gauge that updates as ratios change.
Build a raw dog food bowl by mixing muscle meat, raw meaty bone, organ meat and vegetables, and watch a live gauge weigh the nutritional balance against pathogen safety risk.
🔬 What It Demonstrates
The bowl is split into pie-shaped sectors sized to your ingredient ratios, filled with 3D chunks. A gauge combines a nutrition-balance score (how close your mix sits to commonly cited target ratios) with a pathogen-safety score influenced by bone content and whether a freeze/pathogen-kill step is applied.
🎮 How to Use
Drag the four ingredient sliders to change the mix — they auto-normalize to 100%. Toggle the freeze/pathogen-kill step to see its effect on safety, then watch the gauge needle and stats respond in real time.
💡 Did You Know?
Multiple food-safety surveys have found Salmonella or Listeria in a meaningful share of commercial raw pet food samples, which is why many vets recommend freezing, cooking, or high-pressure-processed raw products and consulting a vet before switching a dog's diet.
