Purdue Model Network Segmentation: Breach Probability Lab (2D)

2D companion to the 3D Purdue model simulator: a Bernoulli-trial breach engine fires repeated phishing attempts at a DMZ gateway with a tunable block probability, and a live running-average chart shows the observed block rate converge on the configured value by the law of large numbers.

This 2D companion turns the 3D scene's single scripted breach into a real statistical experiment: each attack attempt is an independent Bernoulli trial, blocked at the DMZ gateway with a probability you set on a slider, and a running-average chart shows the observed block rate converge on that configured value as the sample size grows — the law of large numbers made visible instead of a one-off anecdote. An attack-rate slider drives an optional auto-fire mode and a lateral-movement-speed slider controls how the packet animation plays out, while the same six-level Purdue stack (L0 field devices through L4–5 corporate IT) from the 3D scene anchors the diagram.
