🍯 Honey Marinade & Glaze Caramelization Lab
Adjust honey-to-acid-to-fat ratios and grill heat, then watch a simulated honey glaze caramelize, gloss and char on a 3D grilled cutlet in real time.
A 3D grill scene where a honey-marinated cutlet's surface glaze browns, glosses and can scorch in real time, driven by the honey, acid and fat ratio in the marinade and the heat of the coals.
🔬 What It Demonstrates
Surface sugar concentration and heat drive caramelization and Maillard browning speed; acid dilutes and slows that browning, while fat spreads heat and adds the glossy sheen of a finished glaze.
🎮 How to Use
Set the honey, acid and fat ratios and the grill heat, then watch the caramelization percentage, gloss and char-risk stats update as the glaze darkens on the cutlet. Baste to refresh the shine, or start a new cutlet.
💡 Did You Know?
Honey's fructose caramelizes at around 110°C, well below table sugar's 160°C, which is why honey glazes catch and darken so much faster than plain sugar glazes at the same grill temperature.
Interactive 3D pan and grill scene where users adjust honey-to-acid-to-fat ratios in a marinade and watch a simulated glaze caramelize under heat in real time.
