Cannonball Kick Simulator (2D)
A side-view companion to the 3D stadium kick: real quadratic air-drag and Magnus-curve equations drive the flight, a live trajectory preview updates as you drag the sliders, and a lateral-drift bar shows exactly where spin carries the ball at the goal line.
The 3D version of this simulator puts you in an orbiting stadium camera behind a kicker; this 2D companion strips that away to focus purely on the flight-path mathematics. Every frame integrates real quadratic air drag (proportional to the iron ball's cross-section and velocity squared) alongside a Magnus-style lateral force driven by the spin/curve slider, so increasing power genuinely extends range against drag rather than following a fixed idealized parabola, and dialling in curve visibly bends the shot's lateral drift — read off directly from the readout bar under the pitch — toward one side of the goal. A dashed preview trajectory recomputes live as you adjust power, angle or curve before you even kick, so you can aim deliberately instead of guessing.
