🔬 What It Demonstrates
Colony risk from pesticide drift depends on distance to the field, whether the wind blows toward or away from the hives, how many bees are out foraging at the time of spraying, and whether the beekeeper had advance notice to protect the colony.
🎮 How to Use
Drag the distance and wind sliders, pick a spray time of day, and toggle prior notification. Watch the risk beacon change colour and the workflow list, then click "Advance workflow" to move from spray detection through to a WIIS incident report.
💡 Did You Know?
The Wildlife Incident Investigation Scheme (WIIS) is free and open to any UK member of the public — suspected pesticide poisoning of bees can be reported even without being a registered beekeeper.
