This 2D companion drives the same coral-stress formulas as the 3D version through a plain canvas view: heat stress from water temperature above 28°C and acid stress from pH dropping below 8.08 combine into one bleaching-stress value that whitens the coral colours, thins out the visible fish, and lowers dissolved oxygen — so you can read the reef's health directly from the readout panel instead of guessing from the scene.
