🔬 What It Demonstrates

Each climate zone has its own seasonal temperature curve and bloom window. Below the forage threshold the colony pulls into a shivering winter cluster that tightens as it gets colder; above it, foragers stream out to whatever is in bloom.

🎮 How to Use

Pick a climate zone and drag the month slider to watch temperature, bloom and weather change. Toggle the insulation wrap and entrance reducer to see how beekeeper interventions shift the cluster and flight threshold.

💡 Did You Know?

Honeybees generally stop flying below roughly 10–13°C; everything about a region's beekeeping calendar — feeding dates, inspection windows, wrapping — is really just working around that one number.
