How it works
Cabin pressure — Stability index blends pressure, oxygen fraction and energy headroom — Mars greenhouses run at roughly two-thirds of sea-level pressure to save structural mass.
Water recycling rate — Useful water available to crops after losses, assuming a fixed 180 m³ store — every percentage point of recycling directly multiplies usable water.
Crop area — Harvest output scaled against a 12-person crew's caloric needs at 4.2 kg/m²/cycle and 650 kcal/kg.
