Three glowing particle streams race from a shared primary-energy source to the wheels, one lane each for a gasoline engine, a battery-electric vehicle and a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle. At every stage boundary — generation, transport, storage, drivetrain — a slice of each stream peels off as a red spark of waste heat, so the stream visibly thins before it reaches the finish line. Slide the grid's renewable share and watch only the EV and hydrogen lanes respond, since gasoline never touches the electricity grid; toggle each pathway to isolate it and compare the live well-to-wheel efficiency percentages.
