Snow Globe
A miniature snowy village (pine trees, a glowing-window house) sits inside a glass sphere filled with instanced snow particles. Shaking kicks each snowflake with a random velocity that is then pulled by simulated gravity, turbulence and drag until it settles back onto the base, while idle flakes drift gently in place.
- 900 instanced snow spheres constrained inside a spherical bound
- Physically-based glass material using transmission/thickness
- Shake impulse gives every flake a random velocity kick
- Whole globe group rocks and rotates during the shake decay
- House window point light flickers slightly for warmth
