2D Balloon Rupture Simulator

This is the rupture half of the balloon pair: rather than the inflation build-up, it starts from a balloon already stretched to a chosen internal pressure and wall thickness, and simulates the instant it lets go. The wall is modeled as a thin elastic spherical shell — Laplace's law gives the hoop stress from pressure, radius and thickness, Hooke's law converts that stress to strain, and the strain multiplied by rubber's own elastic wave speed gives the fragment velocity at the moment of tearing. Adjust the pressure, wall thickness and radius sliders to see how each one drives the stress, the stored elastic energy and the resulting bang, then trigger the pop to watch the fragments radiate outward and the pressure shockwave expand and fade.
