V8 Engine Block
Eight cylinders in a 45-degree V configuration share a single crankshaft. Each piston's vertical position is derived from slider-crank geometry (crank radius + connecting-rod length), and a spark flashes near top dead center following the classic V8 firing order.
- 8 cylinders, firing order 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2 style pattern
- Piston motion computed from real slider-crank trigonometry, not a simple sine
- Connecting rods tilt to match crank pin angle for visual accuracy
- Spark glow intensity decays exponentially after each ignition
