2D Swimming Hydrodynamics — Body Position & Stroke Technique

A flat, side-view companion to the 3D Swimming Hydrodynamics simulation, isolating the two levers a real swimmer controls: body position and stroke technique. Frontal area and drag coefficient are computed live from how streamlined or upright the swimmer holds their body, and propulsive efficiency is computed live from stroke rate, so pushing the cadence too high genuinely costs more energy per metre even as it raises top speed — a real hydrodynamic tradeoff, not a decorative one.
